In this series the artist has taken the classic landscape as his theme and from his sketches has created flat shapes of colour which suggest a cut and torn paper effect.

This unique technique has been designed by the artist to create a dramatic, colourful and impressionistic approach to a familiar subject, as opposed to a purely figurative treatment.
